Parti Komunis Malaya (PKM) masih hidup....
.......Asked what had become of the CPM after laying down arms for the last 20 years, Chin Peng maintained that the party was still alive, but not posing a threat to anyone as it was in hibernation.
"Yes, the CPM is still alive...in hibernation. We are not active anymore, just some reunions among our comrades," said Chin Peng who led a jungle guerilla war against the Malaysian government which lasted several decades.
He said that since the signing of the peace accord, he believed both parties had met most of their obligations set out in the agreement, but the decision to bar him from returning home remained a sticky issue.
Kerana seolah-olah MAHKAMAH MEMBENARKAN RASUAH DILAKUKAN SELEPAS WAKTU PEJABAT.

Ke mana perginya Pengerusi Gerakan Mansuh PPSMI (GMP), Datuk Dr HassanAhmad; Timbalan Pengerusi GMP, Prof Dr Shaharir Mohd Zain; Setiausaha GMP, Hasni Abas; Sasterawan Negara, Datuk A Samad Said; Ahli Akademik,Prof Abdullah Hasan; penggiat teater, Che Shamsudin Othman; Ketua Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK), Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin; Naib Ketua AMK, Khairul Anuar Ahmad Zainuddin dan Ketua AMK Bahagian Batu, Rozan Azen Mat Rasip.
Kemana, Presiden Pas, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang; Timbalan Presidennya, Nasaruddin Mat Isa; Naib Presiden Pas, Mohamad Sabu; Ketua Pemuda Pas,Salahuddin Ayob; Ketua Penerangan Pas, Datuk Mahfuz Omar, Pengarah Strategi Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Saifuddin Nasution Ismail; SuhaizanKaiat; Mohamad Faizal Abd Aziz; Ainon Simo @ Mohd @ Somo dan Idris Ahmad.

Anwar get RM100,000
Judicial Commissioner Harmindar Singh Dhaliwal held that the article, published in the News Straits Times newspaper on March 2, 2002, was defamatory to Anwar as it implied the former deputy prime minister was a person with no integrity, dishonest, corrupt and an untrustworthy leader and politician.
"The sting of these statements was to show that the plaintiff (Anwar) had abused his political position for personal gain.
"It is safe to conclude that the effects of the article would certainly lower the plaintiff in the estimation of ordinary, right-thinking members of Malaysian society. There would certainly be some degree of hatred, contempt or ridicule," Justice Harmindar said when reading out is 45-page written judgement.
On July 4, 2003, Anwar filed the suit against the defendants claiming that the article was defamatory of him and sought general damages of RM100 million, exemplary and aggravated damages, interest and costs.
**********************Anwar's link to US lobbyist************************
A US magazine's investigation into Washington D.C. lobbyist Douglas H.Paal is throwing new light on an American think-tank linked closely toformer Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
In an article entitled "The Bush Administration's dubious envoy toTaiwan" in its March 4 issue, the respected political weekly magazine NewRepublic delves into Paal's political standing in Washington and thepurpose of the Asia Pacific Policy Centre (APPC), which he founded in1993.
The APPC organised four high-powered Pacific Dialogues between US andMalaysian politicians and businessmen in Kuala Lumpur in the mid to late1990s. A fifth dialogue was cancelled after Anwar was removed as DeputyPrime Minister.
According to 1999 news reports carried by local media, the dialogueswere co-sponsored by the Institute of Policy Research, a known Anwarthink-tank, and the Institute of Strategic and International Studies.Anwar was also listed on the APPC's website as the dialogues' patron.
In June of 1999, the APPC took part in a US Congressional Sub-Committeehearing on Malaysia in Washington D.C., where Paal recommended to membersof Congress that the US maintain a "correct but cool relationship" withthe Malaysian Government.
During his testimony, Paal said his interest in Malaysia had been"deepened further by the magnetic personality of former Deputy PrimeMinister Anwar Ibrahim ... Anwar became a good friend, as well as a benignface for Malaysia to the outside world."
In October of that year, local media also reported allegations by formerBank Negara assistant governor Datuk Abdul Murad Khalid of financial linksbetweeen Anwar and the APPC. Paal, who is rumoured to be the next de factoUS ambassador to Taiwan, was an acknowledged insider in the first Bushadministration as the President's East Asia and China policy adviser.
According to New Republic's article, the long delay in giving Paal adiplomatic role in the new Bush administration was due in part toquestions about the APPC's role.
The article said: "Over time, people in Paal's East Asia policy circlesbegan to wonder whether the APPC might not be quite what it appeared.
Although the centre had a big budget and post offices in downtownWashington, it appeared to do few things that think tanks normally do: Itpublished no studies; it issued no public reports or opinion briefs; andit hosted no conferences - at least none that were open to the public."
Former employees described the centre as a combination of a think-tankand consulting firm, with a tight emphasis on fees for every servicerendered.
Paal allegedly used his connections to lobby for the interests of hisclients with important people in Congress for money, all under the guiseof operating a publicly subsidised, non-profit and educationalinstitution.
The APPC's board of directors was another source of mystery: when NewRepublic contacted the four people listed as APPC directors in thecentre's tax filings, only one of them, former Ambassador to SingaporeRobert D. Orr, was aware of his status as director.
Bigger questions swirled around APPC's funding, which was largelybelieved to have come from foreign governments and corporations.
The exact details of the centre's funding remains unknown as the APPCwas not required by law to disclose its funding sources, and Paal did notanswer to New Republic's repeated requests for an interview.
But the centre's 2000 tax filing revealed that the bulk of theUS$166,000 (RM631,000) it raised that year came from foreign sources, including the Embassy of Singapore, a Japanese company called MitsuiMarine Insurance and the Japan External Trade Organisation.
Under US law, individuals who represent or act on behalf of foreignentities must register with the US Justice Department as foreign agents, which Paal neglected to do.
"The foreign relationships that have raised the most questionsconcerning the APPC, however, involved political and business elites inMalaysia," the article said.
Paal's associate and APPC co-founder Anthony Stout was described in thearticle as "a storied Washington lobbyist cum entrepreneur with areputation for running through other people's money in sometimessuccessful, more often disastrous, ventures.
The article alleged that Stout was interested in gaining access toMalaysia's Employees Provident Fund (EPF).
"Stout was lobbying Malaysians officials to open the fund to investmentoutside the country and, hopefully, to give him authority to manage one ofthe accounts," it said, adding that Stout was also looking to gain accessto business opportunities with Malaysia's top Chinese businessmen.
The Pacific Dialogues between US and Malaysian government officials andbusiness raised eyebrows for their secretive nature.
"Like the rest of the APPC's work, the Dialogues were conducted in anatmosphere of exclusivity and secrecy.
"According to the then-US ambassador John Malott, Paal not only barredthe Press from covering them; he even barred Malott himself from attending- something another senior American diplomat called `unbelievable'."
The article noted that within Malaysia, it was widely believed that theconferences were used by Anwar to boost his image in Washington, aperception shared by officials within the US Congress itself.
A senior Senate Foreign Relations officer was quoted as saying: "Theywere co-hosted by Anwar Ibrahim. It was no secret that the Government ofMalaysia was funding (these events)."
In Oct 1999, Abdul Murad made a statutory declaration in which he made aseries of allegations about financial links between Anwar and the APPC.
He said Anwar had insisted that the APPC manage Bank Negara's reservesof RM50 billion and the EPF.
Alternatively, a fee of US$3 million was to be paid annually to the APPCfor the cost of running the centre.
Abdul Murad also said that he had arranged US$10 million incontributions to the APPC and Paal under Anwar's instructions, and thatAnwar's business associates had also donated money to Paal and the centre.
"Although I cannot ascertain the exact quantum of their contributions,"he said in his declaration, "I am convinced they ran into millions of USdollars."
APPC and Douglas H. Paal are one of the main vehicles used by AnwarIbrahim to promote his image in the Western countries, mainly inWashington, USA and the UK and other European nations.
APPC also lobbied strongly for Anwar Ibrahim with the internationalmedia organisations."
The article noted that a planned fifth Pacific Dialogue was cancelledafter Anwar was removed as Deputy Prime Minister, a development that,"clearly helped bring the APPC's high-flying days to an abrupt end."

Why Penang DCM 2 asked Malaysia to condem Sri Langka goverment?
He said Sri Lanka had assured United Nations (UN) secretary-general Ban Ki-Moon, who visited Sri Lanka''s refugee camps after the conflict ended in May last year, that it would work closely with human rights groups to address the welfare and safety of refugees.
Special UN representatives have given a positive evaluation on the progress made by Sri Lanka in addressing the issues, said Kohilan when replying to a question from P.Ramasamy (DAP-Batu Kawan).
Ramasamy wanted to know why the Malaysian government refused to condemn the Sri Lankan government over civilian deaths in the conflict and the plight of about 300,000 ethnic-minority Tamil refugees.
Why Ramasamy asked that question?
Penang Deputy Chief Minister 2, Professor P Ramasamy participated as a member of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) constitutional affairs committee prior to Geneva Talks in June 2006 and a well-known LTTE think tank member, before this openly threatened the Malaysian government that the Tamils would replace the apostle of peace, Mahatma Gandhi with Prabhakaran as their principal cult figure.
Ramasamy also claim that Tamils in Malaysia consider Prabhakaran as their hero. In his article to tamilcanadian.com.
Ramasamy claim that LTTE has been a fantastic morale booster to Tamils in Malaysia.
In his articles, Ramasamy claim that:
...Tamils in Malaysia are fully behind the struggle for Eelam. The devious propaganda unleashed by the Sri Lankan Mission has not affected their support; on the contrary, the support is growing day by day. There are basically three principal reasons why Tamils are behind the Eelam cause. First, as an exploited group in Malaysia, the Tamils more than any other group, fully understand the plight of their brethren in Sri Lanka. And being a class that has nothing much to loose in a material sense, they are much bolder in their support for the cause unlike the middle-class Tamils.....
The pro-Malay policies of the government have discriminated against Tamils being meaningfully employed in the different sectors of the economy. Beyond this, Tamils are finding it difficult to erect places of worship and have curbs placed on their cultural activities. Their own leaders have not really championed their cause. Many of them by closely accommodating to the Malay elite have fundamentally neglected the welfare and well-being of the community.
Thus, given this scenario, it is no wonder that Tamils longing for meaningful change have become quite radicalised. Their admiration of the LTTE have grown by leaps and bounds over the recent years. In fact, many of them secretly wish that they had a militant organisation to take up their cause.
Third and not the least, the selfless struggle waged by the LTTE, the utter dedication of its leaders, the disciplined nature of their performance and others have not been lost on the Tamil population in Malaysia. The role of LTTE has given Tamils here much pride and dignity as Tamils. In short, LTTE has been a fantastic morale booster to Tamils in Malaysia.

Baca komen rockybru dibawah:
How much did the Govt pay Dr Peter Vanezis? That's what Ean Yong Hian Wah, Selangor exco member and Teoh Beng Hock's employer when he died, demanded to know as they exhumed the body this morning for the second postmortem tomorrow.
Excerpts of what he told Malaysian Insider:
Teoh’s former employer, Selangor state executive councillor Ean Yong Hian Wah, said at the cemetery: “I hope the second autopsy will reveal the truth.”
Yong also stated his desire to know how much the government spent hiring the UK pathologist Dr Peter Vanezis — one of two foreign pathologists, along with Dr Pornthip, who will be observing the second autopsy.
Dr Vanezis, who serves as a director at the Cameron Centre for Forensic Medical Sciences in London, has handled over 2,000 autopsy cases involving sudden death, of which 1,500 were found to be homicides.
“The fact that they hired a foreign expert shows they have no confidence in the local pathologists,” Yong added.
Demikian lah halnya pemimpin kerajaan PR Selangor - sebuah negeri maju, tetapi pemimpinnya bodoh-bodoh belaka. Adakah wajar Ean Yong Hian Wah yang dulunya majikan TBH bertanya berapa bayaran dibuat kerajaan kepada pakar patologi dari Britain Dr Peter Vanezis.
(“The fact that they hired a foreign expert shows they have no confidence in the local pathologists,” Yong added.)
Ini menunjukkan Pakatan rakyat future is dark as it does not have the people's support. It is improper for Pakatan Rakyat leaders, STUPID in desperation, to resort to spreading lies and making false allegations that dirty tactics.
The recent developments in Selangor showed that many PKR and Pakatan Rakyat state assemblymen wanted to be with the Barisan Nasional (BN), having lost confidence in the Pakatan leadership which was unable to govern the state effectively.
The door of the BN is always open to all. The BN is an organisation which maximises the country's political energies and resources. But its struggles are based on certain specific principles. Any party which accepts these principles can become its member.
When a leader no longer has the support of his people, it will be very difficult for him to continue working with them. So, Khalid Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat leaders should be more concerned with the future of Selangor rather than with his own political career. Politicians and leaders, will come and go. What is more important is the future of the people of Selangor.
There has been speculation that some Pas elected representatives might do just that following talk that some of them were disappointed with the current leadership.
Latest development in Selangor PR:... And someone gime me a tips that the MCA party's central committee will discuss what sort of position in the state's party leadership can be entrusted to the DAP assemblymen if they cross-over, so that they could continue to serve the people.
This DAP assemblymen think that if the Malays sought unity under the leadership of Umno, there was no reason why the Chinese should not unite under the MCA. If Pakatan Rakyat cross-over, there was nothing else the DAP could say except alleging that its members had been bought over whenever there was a cross-over.
And, among the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat assemblymen....

Nizar akhirnya terima Dr Zambry, BN sebagai kerajaan pentadbir Perak...
Mengikut laporan Bernama hari ini, Nizar meminta Zambry mengetepikan perbezaan fahaman politik demi pembangunan sukan bola sepak di Perak.
Petikan berita Bernama:
IPOH, Nov 17 (Bernama) -- Perak Football Association (Perak FA) president Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin today urged the Perak state government to help the cash-strapped association.
The former Menteri Besar urged current Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir to set aside political differences for the development of sports in the state.
"If Zambry decides to help Perak FA...fans in the state will certainly look up to him as a true leader," he told reporters at the Perak FA office here today.
Perak were among six teams that were barred from competing in the M-League next season for failing to meet terms and conditions set by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
Mohammad Nizar who was the Perak Menteri Besar when he decided to take over as Perak FA president from Datuk Muhamad Mahiyuddin Abdullah, the Perak Malay Chamber of Commerce president.
"Look at Kelantan, although the Kelantan FA president is Kelantan Umno Liaison Chief Datuk Seri Anuar Musa, the PAS government continues to provide funds for the Kelantan team," he said.
The former Menteri Besar who claimed that he had no intention of relinquishing his post as president, added that Zambry''s statement last week, urging Mohammad Nizar to resign if Perak FA could not settle its financial obligations, as unprofessional.
The FAM who made the announcement on Nov 2, are expected to make a final decision on the suspension during an FAM council meeting that is expected to be chaired by its president Sultan Ahmad Shah, soon.
The six teams were barred from the M-League competitions next season for failing to settle salary of players and money owed to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).
Meanwhile, Perak PAS Youth has launched a state level donation drive to collect funds for the Perak team. -- BERNAMA

Bekas Mufti Perlis ditangkap
Anggota penguat kuasa Jais dilaorkan memasuki banglo berkenaan kira-kira pukul 9 malam ketika Dr Mohd Asri memberikan ceramahnya.
Majlis-Majlis Agama Islam Negeri-negeri lain selain Perlis, Tokoh-tokoh agama arus perdana termasuk semua para Mufti Negeri negeri (kecuali Perlis) serta tokoh-tokoh seperti Prof.Datuk Dr.Ismail Ibrahim, Tan Sri Syeikh Ghazali Abd Rahman bekas Ketua Pengarah JKSM, Dato’ Hashim b.Yahya bekas Mufti Wilayah Persekutuan, Dato’ Nooh Gadot dan ramai lagi amat tidak senang dengan pendekatan dan pendirian sebegini.

.... Akhirnya, PAS hendaklah benar-benar tahu siapakah musuhnya yang sebenar.
Beberapa perkara berikut patut difikirkan oleh PAS;
